Adaptation is Key!

Being able to adapt a client’s vision within a certain set or parameters, restrictions, and circumstances is one of the most important skills we have in the special event industry.

I am most proud of utilizing this skill last year by transforming a grim and dingy Urgent Care facility into a bustling, bright, and thriving real estate office and workspace, safe for clients and staff alike.

An effective event designer and producer must be able to see the potential in any room and adapt it to the client’s needs. This quality became more and more crucial as 2020 progressed.

While COVID was devastating for my industry, in the end, it shone a light on the adaptability, vision, and varied talents of my colleagues from around the world. In short, our talents extend well beyond planning parties.
